Six weeks of Ecology Camp are being offered for children from 4 through 13 years of age. For five, fun-filled days, young campers will explore Lincoln Memorial Garden’s native ecosystems through discovery hikes, nature arts and crafts, and environmental songs and games with like-minded naturalists.Camp sessions run for five days, 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and are organized by age group. Please note that Session I, the the half-day camp for four, five, and six-year-olds, is filled.
Camp sessions and times are as follows:
ECOLOGY CAMP 2011 SESSIONS, DATES, AND TIMES
Session I 4, 5, 6 years June 13 -17 8:30 - 11:30
Session II 6, 7, 8 years June 20 -24 8:30 - 3:30
Session III 7, 8, 9 years June 27 – July 1 8:30 – 3:30
NO ECOLOGY CAMP - July 4 – July 15,
2011 Session IV 8, 9.10 years July 18 - 22 8:30 - 3:30
Session V 9, 10, 11 years July 25 - 29 8:30 - 3:30
Session VI 11, 12, 13 years August 1- 5 8:30 - 3:30
The cost per session is as follows: Session I (half day) - $65 per child for members, $80 for nonmembers.
Sessions II-VI (full day)-$120 per child for members, $150 for nonmembers. Camp sessions are strictly limited to 36 participants. Register early to avoid disappointment, because the sessions often fill quickly.
